There is good news and bad news on the injury front for Chelsea ahead of the game with Southampton this weekend.
The Blues take on the Saints at St Mary's Stadium in the lunchtime kick-off on Saturday, ahead of their return to Champions League action against Atletico Madrid next week.
The side Thomas Tuchel plays against Southampton is set to give a clear indication of the way the head coach wants to go against the Spanish giants in the Champions League.
But Tuchel will have a number of decisions determined for him for the Southampton clash by the club's injury situation.
Thiago Silva has not played since leaving the pitch early against Tottenham on February 4 and will be missing again, according to Tuchel.
And he is not the only one who will be out for the clash on the south coast
Speaking during his pre-match press conference, Tuchel said: "Thiago will be out for the game, he's not ready and we have some issues with Christian Pulisic's calf, it feels tight."
However, there was some good news on the injury front, with Tammy Abraham and Kai Havertz both set to return to action.
Abraham went off just 20 minutes into the game with Newcastle United on Monday night and was thought to be a doubt for the game with Southampton, while summer signing Havertz has not been seen since the win over Burnley on New Year's Eve.
Tuchel added: "We are very happy that Tammy is good and free for training today at 3pm, if things go well then he is in the squad. And Havertz can join us at Southampton."
