Thomas Tuchel previously claimed he "wanted to have a connection" with his players whilst also citing their responsibility in managing the dressing room.
The German has been linked with the Manchester United job having proved himself in England with Chelsea. Tuchel has already led the Blues to the Champions League but the uncertainty around the club's future has now seen his future come under the spotlight.
United are on the lookout for a new permanent boss with Ralf Rangnick's interim spell coming to an end in May. The likes of Mauricio Pochettino and Erik Ten Hag have been linked with the role but now Tuchel's name has been thrown into the ring due to the precarious nature Chelsea find themselves in.
If a sensational switch did occur the German would need to manage a dressing room that has proved notoriously difficult in the past. Big egos and personalities have led to rumours of infighting, although Tuchel is not short of experience having managed the likes of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.
He has previously spoken about his player management style, telling BT Sport : "They are also guys, once standing as a six year old with a ball at the beach or on the street. So find what drives this guy, find this little guy in the superstar and then take the right approach. Of course be straight, be honest. I want to have a connection with my players and give guys responsibility. It is not possible that players just take care of themselves - when you're a big player you must take care of the dressing room.
"You can be close and you have to be speak honestly with each other and I try to be friendly, but not to be friends so this is maybe the thin line that you have to create."

Cristiano Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes are among the leaders in the United dressing room. Rangnick is currently the man tasked with getting the best out of the current group but former player Paul Scholes is confident an elite coach would relish the Old Trafford challenge.
He said: "I would have gone for Conte or Tuchel. It looks like one might be available at the end of the season. Those are two top class coaches that strike fear into players and win, which is the most important thing. United, with either one of those managers, would be much better off.
"These big managers thrive on that, and there’s big managers out there. We can’t talk about Guardiola or Klopp, that’s impossible. Any other manager out there should be available to this club."
Tuchel would also need to embed a winning culture at Old Trafford with their trophy drought now increasing to five years. The German had to change the mentality at PSG previously and insists it was not a quick fix. He said: "It was every day process - really focusing on the process every day to bring the group together and to make everybody clear that everyone needs to give a part of their ego."
