Double injury boost confirmed
Chelsea head coach Thomas Tuchel has been handed a massive double boost on the injury front after both Edouard Mendy and N'Golo Kante trained at Cobham yesterday afternoon ahead of Saturday's UEFA Champions League final.
Mendy was forced off at half time against Aston Villa on Sunday afternoon with a ribs problem, whilst Kante missed the trip to the Midlands altogether after suffering a hamstring blow against Leicester City last Tuesday evening.
However, the duo have made positive steps in their recoveries, providing hope that they will both start against Manchester City in Portugal.
Both players have played instrumental roles in the club's run to the final and deserve to start the showpiece event.

Havertz reveals the secret to Chelsea's Champions League run
Midfield star Kai Havertz says "self-belief" has been the key to the club's run to the Champions League final this season ahead of the clash with City in Porto.
Chelsea have claimed some big scalps on route to the final, dumping both Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid out of the competition.
On their run to the final, Havertz said: "We’ve picked up a lot of self-belief over the last few months from our good results and how we’ve played.
"Self-belief is generally very important in football and ours has improved a lot, so it’s made a difference."

Dortmund eye Hudson-Odoi
German giants Borussia Dortmund are interested in signing Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi, a report by Eurosport claims.
The England international, who has seen a decent amount of opportunities to impress come his way since Tuchel arrived at Stamford Bridge towards the end of January, are considering the winger as a potential option to replace Jadon Sancho if he seals a summer move to Manchester United.
Sancho, who is also continuing to be linked with a switch to Chelsea, is United's top target this summer after failing to bring him in 12 months ago.
The report claims that Chelsea would be open to letting the winger go, either on loan or on a permanent basis.
