Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has taken aim at the Premier League after the governing body rejected his side’s request to have this afternoon’s game with Wolves postponed.
Chelsea are set to take on Wolves at Molineux in a 2pm kick-off today but are without several players due to Covid-19 and injury.
On Thursday, Tuchel confirmed Ben Chilwell, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Timo Werner and Romelu Lukaku had all contracted coronavirus and are currently in self-isolation.
And as a result of further positive tests within their squad over the past 24 hours, Chelsea asked for today's match to be postponed.

Tuchek has only been able to name four outfield players on the bench for this afternoon’s game with Jorginho, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Kai Havertz all missing out.
However, football.london is reporting that the match did not meet the criteria to be called off as Chelsea were deemed to have enough players to be able to fulfil the fixture.
Speaking on the decision, Tuchel said: "It is exactly like this, we thought we had a strong case regarding the security and health of players, we have seven positive cases, we were made to be in the bus and travel together for three hours, were in meeting together, in dinner and lunch and the situation does not feel like it will stop.

“We applied to not play and put the situation under control and it was rejected. It is very hard to understand it, we are concerned about the health of the players.
“We end up with players who play coming from injuries and we take the risk. I am worried from a medical point of view, we have had four days of consecutive positive tests.
“How will it stop if we are in a bus together and in meetings together? We are disappointed, we are a bit angry."
While a Chelsea spokesman said: "We are deeply disappointed that our application was rejected as we felt we had a strong case for the postponement of today's match on the grounds of players' health and safety."
