Thomas Tuchel aims to unleash Romelu Lukaku in exciting Chelsea attack as Kai Havertz returns against Arsenal

The biggest talking point of this line-up was always going to be the return of Romelu Lukaku. Chelsea's record-breaking transfer hopes to transform an area of weakness for several seasons. Just seeing Lukaku around the club for the past week has been amazing, given his insightful and enjoyable interviews.

Now it is time to deliver on the pitch.

For all of the Belgian's brilliance, leading Chelsea's attack has been his long-term dream and I hope he can given Arsenal's backline nightmares this afternoon.

Kai Havertz and Mason Mount will join Lukaku in the attacking trio. Havertz and Lukaku as a front pair has the potential to be devastating this season.

Trevoh Chalobah drops to the bench which is slightly disappointing given his great start. But having Reece James back in his favoured right wingback role should provide the speed and physicality to deal with the danger of Kieran Tierney on Arsenal's left flank with Bukayo Saka.

N'Golo Kante on the bench is a big boost which means the trusted double six of Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic will hope to dominate the central area.

Marcos Alonso's brilliant free-kick against Crystal Palace is rewarded with another start. Ben Chilwell is clearly getting back up to speed, and Alonso has made a career out of important goals in London derbies.

Hakim Ziyech compliments a strong Chelsea bench which includes Callum Hudson-Odoi and Timo Werner, who all give Tuchel a chance to alter the style of Chelsea's attack if needed.

Chelsea will hope to keep up their good start to the season following wins against Villarreal and Crystal Palace. Though even with Arsenal's recent issues under Mikel Arteta, the Blues have failed to beat the Gunners in their last four encounters, losing both Premier League games between the two last season.

It is all about the Blues being able to play on Arsenal's vulnerabilities and cope with being the favourites, which has seen them falter in recent seasons. Though the eleven is not overly shocking and has enough ammunition to create good scoring chances in the final third.

Mendy; Azpilicueta (C), Christensen, Rudiger; James, Kovacic, Jorginho, Alonso; Mount; Havertz, Lukaku (3-4-1-2)
