Good news for kids and parents as Thomas the Tank Engine is coming to West Lothian this month

Do you know a Thomas the Tank Engine fan? If so, you can take them to meet the real-life steam train and his friends this month.

Thomas & Friends follows the adventure of Thomas the Tank Engine as he goes on adventures with his fellow locomotives.

Based on The Railway Series books by the Reverend Wilbert Awdry and his son, Christopher, published from 1945, the series remains popular with children today.

Now Thomas is coming to West Lothian on a kids' day when he stops off at Bo'Ness Station on 27-28 July and 7-8 September.

Youngsters will get the chance to ride on a real steam train, as well as meet Thomas the Tank and his friends, The Fat Controller, Sodor Station Sweepers.

It promises to be a fun-filled day, with children's entertainment and competitions, fairground attractions and even face painting, as well.

The event is only coming to two locations in Scotland and a handful of others across the UK - making it an extra special day out.

Tickets cost £14.00 and can be purchased from the website here.
