New Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey has issued a message to Atletico Madrid supporters following his move to Arsenal.
The 27-year-old completed a move to the Gunners for the fee in the region of £45million earlier this week.
Partey ended an eight year association with Atletico having moved to the Spanish capital in 2012.
He went on to play nearly 200 games in the Spanish capital before making the switch to north London.
The Ghana international took to Instagram with a heartfelt message for the Atletico fans as his stay in Spain came to an end.
He wrote: "Dear Atletico fans, today I only have words of gratitude with you.
"For several years now, Atlético de Madrid has been my home and a part of this family will always be with me.
"I want to thank the club for the trust placed in me from day one, but above all, I want to thank you, this wonderful hobby that I accepted from the first moment and that has shown that it is both in good times and in bad times and you never truly stop believing.
"Atlético de Madrid is not just a club, it is a family.
"Thank you."
