Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey has been told to seal a transfer to Atletico Madrid when the market opens by his international teammate.
The Gunners are among the clubs eyeing a move for the 26-year-old, with Manchester United, Inter Milan and Roma all linked with a move for his services.
Atletico are keen to secure Partey down to a new contract but that could prove to be difficult due to the growing interest in his services.
While remaining with the Spanish side would give him Champions League football, his compatriot Edwin Gyasi has advised him to move to Arsenal.
“I think with his class of play, he can play for every club," he told Modern Ghana.
"He is that kind of player you will love to have in your team. He can attack and he can also defend. Partey can play for all of these teams but personally, I will love to see him play for Arsenal because Arsenal is my favourite club."
The make-up of the next transfer window is still yet to be decided amid the coronavirus campaign, with the campaigns in La Liga and the Premier League suspended but planning to complete the season.
