The future of Thomas Partey continues to make headlines in the summer transfer window.
The Atletico Madrid midfielder has been linked with a move to the Premier League, not just in this transfer window, but in previous ones too.
He has garnered interest, specifically from Arsenal, who have been tipped to make a £43million move this summer.
However, given the coronavirus crisis and finances being stretched, head coach Mikel Arteta may have to offload some players in his squad before he can add to it.
Spanish football expert Guillem Balague is not convinced Partey will be able to move this summer, because of the financial restrictions on clubs.
Speaking on his YouTube channel he said: "Now, what I'm hearing is he's got a buyout clause of €50million.
"This €50m is an interesting figure but not many clubs are going to go that far for Thomas.
"We've seen that PSG has already spent that on [Mauro] Icardi and that will probably be already the record for this summer in the transfer window.
"Has there been contact? There was a very clear possibility of him moving to England last summer.
"Spurs, Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal all enquired about Thomas.
"It didn't happen but it tells you that perhaps it's the player that Atletico Madrid would be more fearful of losing because he's growing, but is more willing to leave. That's as much as we can say."
But he did give Arsenal a boost, if they can stump up the cash, by admitting Partey would not be signing a new deal to stay at the Wanda Metropolitano.
He added: "Atletico Madrid would like him to sign another contract, but he's not signing another contract, that's as much as I can tell you."
