Yves Bissouma is at the centre of Arsenal transfer rumours.
Amid talk of joining the Gunners this summer, the midfielder was at the Emirates Stadium for the final Premier League game of the season on Sunday afternoon as he played the full 90 minutes of Brighton's 2-0 loss.
And following an impressive performance, Bissouma sent some Arsenal fans into a transfer frenzy as a conversation between the Mali international and Nicolas Pepe was spotted.
There is a popular theory that Pepe was doing his best to convince his former Lille teammate to reunite with him in north London next season.
In a potential boost for the Gunners, Brighton boss Graham Potter has admitted that he is unsure as to what the future holds for Bissouma.
"Not really. He’s got a contract with us. As far as I know he’s going to report to pre-season like everyone else, but it’s football," he told reporters.
"Like anything, in the summer we have to make some good decisions and improve the football club."
It remains to be seen if the Emirates will be Bissouma's home next season, but former Arsenal striker Kevin Campbell has already revealed the 24-year-old would be the perfect midfield partner for Thomas Partey.
With that said, Potter's previous comments outline why this would be the case.
"He wins a lot of balls back and physically he is in a good place," Potter said last year. "He will get better the more he plays and he showed a discipline and quality.

"I’m really pleased.
"He makes good decisions and he has the power, athleticism and technical qualities to deal with the ball.
"It’s then just the tactical understanding which I think he has developed."
As well as Arsenal, Bissouma has linked with a summer move to the likes of Manchester United and Liverpool.
However, it would appear that the Gunners are in pole position to win the race for the 24-year-old's signature, according to our colleagues at the Daily Star.
They have recently reported that Arsenal are 'confident' of landing Bissouma - but only for a £30million fee, and they are already well aware that they may have to pay another big sum for a midfielder, having spent £45million on Partey last summer.
