Thomas Partey has arrived in England ahead of his first Arsenal training session.
One of five new arrivals at the Emirates Stadium during the summer transfer window, the former Atletico Madrid midfielder is yet to be officially unveiled as the latest member of Mikel Arteta's first-team squad.
That's because he's been away on international duty with Ghana.
After playing 90 minutes last Friday in a 3-0 loss at the hands of Mali, Partey was back in action on Monday evening as he recorded two assists in a 5-1 win against Qatar.
Clips of the goals, and Partey's role in them, were shared on the Arsenal Reddit page, leading to even more excitement about his first training session and potential debut against Manchester City this weekend.
Before getting to know his new teammates and ahead of his first training session at London Colney, there was some very important business for Partey to deal with.
Uploaded to the Arsenal Twitter account on Tuesday afternoon, the midfielder posed with his Gunners shirt for the first time since his £45m transfer was confirmed.
And judging by the Ghanaian's nine-word response, he was very impressed.
"Wow," he said whilst admiring his new shirt. "This is so good, so nice.
"So great."
Partey has already delivered his verdict on his £45m Arsenal transfer and thanked supporters for their messages.
"Hello, Gunners!" he told Arsenal’s official Instagram channel. "Thanks so much for the love, for the messages I’ve received.
"I can't wait to be part of you guys, I can't wait to join the team.
"It's a great feeling to be part of a family like this. Thanks so much to everyone for the love, I feel so grateful and I feel so amazed to be part of you.
"I can't wait to join you guys.
"And don’t forget, no Thomas, no Partey!"
