Thomas Partey's brilliant response to Arsenal fan over shooting criticism after West Ham draw

Thomas Partey has responded brilliantly to criticism over his shooting during Arsenal's draw with West Ham United.

The Gunners came from three goals down to draw with David Moyes' men, conceding three times within the first 32 minutes before fighting back to get the draw.

Two own goals and an Alexandre Lacazette header saw Arsenal take a point despite that disastrous first half, and it rounds off a good week for Mikel Arteta's men.

Arsenal beat Tottenham last weekend before progressing in the Europa League, and this comeback draw will be the icing of the cake, even if there are real lessons to be learned from the first half.

Much has been said about the draw, and midfielder Thomas Partey has come under some gentle criticism from fans over his shooting in the game.

The former Atletico Madrid midfielder did play well, racking up as steady WhoScored rating of 6.6, but his shooting left a lot to be desired.

Partey does not need a second invite to shoot from long distance, despite having a very poor conversion rate, often picking out row Z with his efforts.

And an Arsenal fan took to Instagram to tease the midfielder over that, saying: "Please stop shooting from miles away, still love you tho" with two laughing emojis.

And Partey responded to that by saying: "I will definitely dedicate one to you soon" with a praying emoji, suggesting he won't be giving up on his long-range efforts any time soon.

The Ghanaian has had 16 shots in the Premier League this season, 15 of which have been from outside the box. Ten of those have been off-target with only three on-target and three have been blocked.

The 27-year-old is still finding his feet with the Gunners following his £45million summer move from Atletico Madrid, struggling with injury this season, already missing 10 Premier League games through three separate injuries.
