Thomas Partey representative drops transfer hint amid Manchester United and Arsenal FC links

Thomas Partey's representatives have dropped a fresh hint the player could be moving this summer, amid reports linking him with Manchester United.

The Atletico Madrid midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League in recent weeks with his father even claiming his son is in talks to join Arsenal.

Partey’s agency, JJ Sports Managers SL, eventually moved to dispel his father's comments but have fuelled fresh speculation with their recent social media activity.

Taking to Instagram on Wednesday their account shared an image from transfermarkt which asked fans to ‘pick’ the midfielder’s next club.

The post showed Partey in an Atletico shirt surrounded by the badges of United, Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain.

Speaking recently the 26-year-old's father, Jacob, spoke of the rumoured interest from Mikel Arteta's side ahead of the summer transfer window.

"I called my son after hearing the rumours and he told me that the rumours are true,’ Jacob Partey told Tru FM’s ‘Sports World Show’.

"He told me they are holding talks between him and Arsenal.

"It all depends on the offer Atletico are demanding.

"If he goes to Arsenal fine, they have a lot of supporters in Ghana.

"I will be happy if he decides to move to Arsenal. What they are discussing now is how Atletico will release him."

JJ Sports eventually responded to the reports labelling them as 'totally untrue' as doubts continue to circle his long-term future in Spain.
