Partey passes Arsenal transfer audition

Thomas Partey is a player Arsenal have long admired and the player is keen on a move to the Emirates Stadium if a deal can be agreed between the Gunners and Atletico Madrid.

And the 27-year-old produced the perfect audition for Arsenal earlier this week by impressing as Atleti claimed a 2-2 draw with Spanish champions Barcelona at the Camp Nou.

Partey has thrived this season in a central midfield two - often alongside one of Saul Niguez or Koke. He is usually the deepest lying of Atleti’s quartet of midfielders and the same was true on Tuesday as he protected the back four and stifled Barcelona’s attacking threat.

Willy Boly has broken his silence on transfer rumours linking him with a move to Arsenal this summer.

A report had recently claimed that Arsenal have identified the Wolverhampton Wanderers defender as a potential transfer target in the upcoming window.

Since the Frenchman's return from a fractured fibula, Wolves have kept seven Premier League clean sheets in eight games, conceding just twice in the process.

And in a rare interview with beIN SPORT, an Arsenal fan pleaded with him to move to the Emirates Stadium this summer.
