Thomas Partey in, Matteo Guendouzi out - Have your say in our Arsenal transfer survey

It remains to be seen what business Arsenal will do in the summer transfer market.

There is unlikely to be much money for Mikel Arteta to spend, particularly given 55 staff members were made redundant on Wednesday.

The club's transfer plans remain unaffected by that decision though, football.london understands.

In regard to the specific areas that are being targeted, central midfield remains an area to address for Mikel Arteta with Thomas Partey and Dani Ceballos still prime candidates. Elsewhere, the Spaniard is also looking to strengthen in central defence, with interest in free agent, Malang Sarr genuine, as revealed by football.london on July 24.

The current squad at the Emirates will need to be trimmed though.

There are plenty of candidates to be shipped out of the door, with loanees Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Mohamed Elneny among them, as well as the likes of Matteo Guendouzi and defender Sokratia and Shkodran Mustafi.

So what will the Gunners squad look like come the start of the 2020/21 season, a mere five weeks away?

Who comes in and who leaves?
