Manchester United's right-back hunt appears to be stepping up.
Crystal Palace's Aaron Wan-Bissaka has reportedly been high on the wishlist for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer but the Eagles are holding firm on their valuation.
Palace are likely to lose former United man Wilfried Zaha but they are keen not to lose him and fellow Academy product Wan-Bissaka in the same summer.
Reports have suggested that Palace are looking for £70million, well above the England under-21 international's market value.
The Daily Mail now indicates that United are instead looking at Paris Saint-Germain defender Thomas Meunier.
Meunier, 27, has one year left on his contract at PSG and he is rated at around £25m.
United are current favourites to land the Belgian defender at 2/1 with Everton also in the race with the Toffees priced at 4/1. Chelsea and Arsenal are available at 8/1 to land Meunier this summer.
Speaking recently about his future, Meunier said: "The club and management know, I would like to finish my contract at PSG or why not extend it?
"If this is done, so much the better and if that is not done, we will see what is possible and we will go elsewhere.
"At the level of rumours, I am quoted everywhere. Only beautiful clubs come out: Manchester United, Juve, Dortmund, these are just exceptional clubs."
