Borussia Dortmund full-back Thomas Meunier reiterated Jadon Sancho will not be joining Manchester United on deadline day.
The England international has been United's prime transfer target throughout the summer but an agreement with the Bundesliga side has not been reached.
Dortmund have slapped a €120m price tag on the former Manchester City youngster, a figure United refused to meet, and the German side set an August 10th deadline for any deal to be concluded.
While United remain interested in bringing Sancho to the Premier League, it's looking less likely with each passing hour that a deal will be struck this year.
Dortmund captain Marco Reus recently spoke of his delight about Sancho staying put and Meunier seemed equally enthused as he playfully told Sky Sports news: "Sancho is staying", as he entered Dortmund's training ground on Monday.
Sancho did not feature for Dortmund at the weekend due to a respiratory infection, having also missed the club's defeat to Bayern Munich in the Super Cup.
