Kingston began his career in the foreign office and later worked for Voltan Capital Management before joining Devonport.

Kingston's adventurous spirit was evident in his past work as a project manager in Iraq, where he was involved in conflict resolution efforts, including hostage negotiations. He was known for his fearlessness and willingness to take on challenges, even in dangerous environments.

Kingston's personal life also garnered attention, particularly his past relationship with Pippa Middleton, the sister of Princess Kate. Despite their brief romance, Kingston and Middleton remained close friends and attended various events together.

In 2015, Kingston began a relationship with Lady Gabriella, and the couple got engaged in 2018. They exchanged vows on May 18, 2019, at Windsor Castle in a ceremony attended by Queen Elizabeth and Prince Harry. Lady Gabriella wore a stunning lace bridal gown by Luisa Beccaria for the occasion.

Throughout their marriage, Kingston and Lady Gabriella were seen together at royal events, including Trooping the Colour and the Royal Ascot. Their close bond was evident as they supported each other in various public appearances.
