Brentford boss Thomas Frank has backed Arsenal to win their first Premier League title in 19 years. The Gunners currently lead the way at the top of the table by five points, despite being held on Saturday afternoon.
Leandro Trossard's first goal for the club looked as though it would hand the Gunners a much-needed three points after Mikel Arteta's men suffered back-to-back defeats at the hands of Manchester City and Everton. However, Ivan Toney netted an equaliser eight minutes later to hand the Bees a deserved point.
Failure to return to winning ways opens the door for Man City to cut the gap to only three points ahead of next week's highly-anticipated clash between the two title rivals. The Gunners welcome Pep Guardiola's men to the Emirates Stadium in the first of two league fixtures still to be played this campaign.

Arsenal have endured a terrific turnaround in fortunes from their UEFA Champions League heartbreak at the end of last season. From a fifth-placed finish to title challengers, Arteta has well and truly conducted a much-needed turnaround in north London.
And, despite holding the Gunners to a draw yesterday, Frank has tipped Arsenal to go on to lift the league title in May ahead of City. "They're favourites to win the title and I think they will," he said in his post-match press conference.
Frank also provided a blueprint for his fellow Premier League managers on how to stop Arsenal from firing on all cylinders for the remainder of the season. Brentford arguably had the better chances yesterday afternoon and limited their opponents at the other end.
"In a way, yes," he said when asked whether it was easy to prepare for Arsenal. "But they are very good at what they are doing. It's about eliminating their threats. We were very aware of doubling up on Saka and Martinelli.
"There was one moment when we didn't have everything bang on and that's when they scored."
