Thomas Frank gives big update on his future after disastrous Tottenham reign

  • Thomas Frank has decided against accepting a new management position this summer, stating he needs more time to regain the necessary energy and dedication for the role.
  • The Dane, who was sacked by Tottenham in February after a seven-month tenure, had been considered for roles at clubs including Fulham and Crystal Palace.
  • Before his spell at Spurs, Frank achieved significant success over nearly seven years at Brentford, leading them to Premier League promotion in 2021 and securing two top-half finishes.
  • Frank explained that despite receiving offers and engaging in conversations, he believes this is not the opportune moment to rush back into football management.
  • He plans to work as a pundit during the World Cup and will use his time away from the touchline to study, observe, and learn from various leaders within and outside sport, as well as spending time with family and friends.
