Thomas Cook Airlines is rolling out lie-flat beds in economy class, enabling economy passengers flying long haul to bed down in comfort.
The new 'Sleeper Seat' transforms a row of three seats into a bed, which consists of a mattress, fitted sheet, head rest, pillow, blanket and amenity kit.
The Sleeper Seat is only available on Thomas Cook's long-haul network, which flies to destinations including Orlando, New York and Cancun in Mexico.
Air New Zealand was the first airline to roll out the lie-flat bed in economy concept, with its Skycouch on long-haul flights.
When boarding, passengers will be be seated in a row of three seats. Once in the air, they can ask cabin crew to make up their bed before hitting the hay.
The seatbelt has been given a special extension, so passengers lying flat can still wear it – although they'll have to sit up to eat.

"It is a fantastic way to transform your flying experience and enjoy some extra comfort when flying in economy.”
Prices start from £200 one-way and booking is now available online for selected long-haul flights from 13 May. Only adults and children over 12 can book one.
In February, Thomas Cook said it was putting its airline up for sale following increased first-quarter losses.
