So the lovebirds went all out when they made the trip from London to Portugal in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic for the milestone moment.
Thom, 34, documented the heart-warming meet with a photograph of him and Nicole, 41, joining his parents Sally and Brian on Father's Day.
In the photo, The Masked Singer judge wrapped her arms affectionately around her man's neck while he tenderly touched one of her hands.
His mum and dad leaned in for the picture with big smiles on their faces.
Thom posted the family photograph on Instagram to mark Father's Day.
He wrote in the caption: "Happy Fathers Day Dad! Love ya 9 iron Brian x."
Thom and Nicole's relationship has been growing more serious in recent months.
The rugby star had already rubbed shoulders with Nicole's parents Rosemary and Alfonso.
They met over the Christmas period as their romance was heating up.
He told OK! magazine of the meeting: "I came out for three weeks over Christmas. I met her family so it's been great!"
Chemistry was fizzing between Nicole and Thom when they crossed paths on Celebrity X Factor last year.
The couple have fast-tracked their romance and they have been living together.
They have been filming loved-up clips for their Instagram accounts amid the worldwide pandemic sweeping the globe.
