This West Lothian shelter pup is looking for a forever home - he's only one, can you help?

A dog at a West Lothian shelter is in need of a new home.

One-year-old crossbreed Rory, at the Dogs Trust's West Calder centre, is looking for an energetic family to adopt him.

This dog loves playing with his toys and comes with an added bonus - his lively nature means he'll probably help owners keep fit.

However he needs an adult-only home with a closed garden and must be the only pet in the house.

There's a 'puppy and prosecco' party taking place at this Edinburgh bar this week

The Dogs Trust say: "Rory is a happy and enthusiastic boy with a real zest for life; and he would benefit from new owners who are patient and understanding.

"He would also benefit from a family who are willing to continue his training. Having a pet like Rory is a wonderful way to ensure you get plenty of daily exercise and fresh air."
