This Welsh fan falling down steps during a live TV interview is the best thing you'll see all day

Wales enjoyed another historic footballing night in Baku on Wednesday and the celebrations seemed a little too much for some.

Goals from Aaron Ramsey and Connor Roberts were enough to give Rob Page's men a precious victory over Turkey, a result that puts them within touching distance of the last 16 of Euro 2020.

The final whistle sparked scenes of joy across the nation and some lost their footing as well as their heads.

S4C were on hand to interview delighted Wales supporters live outside the Red Lion pub in the village of Pontrhydfendigaid in Ceredigion - but they were soon upstaged in hilarious circumstances.

While speaking to former Aberystwyth Town striker Glyndwr Hughes the TV cameras caught a jubilant fan in the background who stole the show after taking a tumble down the stairs outside the pub.

Fortunately he seemed to shake it off and quickly scurried back inside - but he failed to escape embarrassment with the footage becoming a sensation on social media, with plenty seeing the funny side of the incident.

It's not yet clear if the fan in question had been indulging in a few too many refreshments on sale at the establishment.

One hopes he'll be more careful in future, particularly given that the summer campaign is likely to go on for a little while longer yet, with Wales all but certain to earn themselves a place in the knockout stages of the tournament.

Page's side now head to Rome this weekend to take on an Italy side many fancy to go all the way, and have a chance to reach the last 16 as group winners.

This latest victory means confidence will surely be sky high by the time they arrive for Sunday's clash in the Stadio Olimpico.
