Every paid admission ($13) receives a chance to enter a drawing and win a free handgun or rifle. Plus kids 11 and under get in free.
A few caveats: You can bring a maximum of two (unloaded) guns into the show for the purpose of "appraisal, sale, trade or for accessories," but all weapons must be checked at the entrance and secured with a plastic tie strap, advises Florida Gun Shows' Facebook page.
Also, to purchase a gun in Florida you must be 18 to buy a rifle, 21 to buy a handgun _ and a Florida resident.
Nineteen-year-old confessed shooter Cruz bought an AR-15 at Sunrise Tactical Supply, in Coral Springs, near Parkland, a lawyer for the store told media on Thursday.
It was the same weapon used in Wednesday's massacre, and the same make used in various other mass casualty shootings around the nation.
