'This week hasn't been easy': Molly-Mae Hague reveals she was hospitalised

Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague has revealed she's been in hospital and told fans she would 'talk about things soon.'

The reality TV star from Manchester shared a photo of herself in a car after leaving hospital.

In the caption for the photo shared on her Instagram yesterday she wrote: "On my way back from hospital. This week hasn't been easy. I'm going to talk about thing soon."

Molly-Mae, who had recently returned from a trip to Italy, wore comfy-looking caramel coloured joggers and white trainers for her journey from hospital.

The 21-year-old, whose partner is Manchester boxer Tommy Fury, later shared a photo of a stunning bunch of flowers sent by her friend and fellow Islander Maura Higgins.

Yesterday Molly-Mae also took to Twitter, appearing to address the backlash she had received after criticising the food in Italy.

"It’s the preaching about mental health day on Saturday and then continuing to unnecessarily rip into someone on Monday for me," she tweeted.

In an Instagram post the social media influencer said the food in Italy is 'actually shocking' and slammed the 'disappointing' restaurants.

The social media influencer, who shot to fame on the 2019 series of the ITV2 dating show, also said her ice cream in a picture shared with fans was 'grim.'

"I absolutely loved Venice but one thing I will say about Italy in general ... the food is actually shocking? she wrote.

"So controversial I know but I've been a lot of times now to different parts and I've tried a lot of different restaurants and I'm always so disappointed.

"It's meant to be the home of pizza and pasta and I really can't see how. Strange. Even this ice cream was grim."

However Molly-Mae did say the stunning scenery made up for her dislike of the food.

"The views made up for it though," she wrote.

And last summer's Love Island finalist described Venice as the 'most beautiful place I've ever seen.'
