This was the cannabis farm police discovered in Bolton

Police said two women are 'under investigation' after officers found a cannabis farm at a property in Bolton.

Officers executed warrants at two premises in Breightmet on Friday morning.

At one, they discovered a cannabis farm with 32 plants.

Cannabis was also found at the other location.

Officers executed warrants on Newlands Avenue and Stockdale Grove earlier today.

They said two women, aged 38 and 30, remain under investigation.

On the GMP Bolton North Facebook page, officers said: "#WARRANT | Police have executed two drugs warrants at properties in #Breightmet.

"This morning (Friday 26th February 2021), officers from the #BoltonNorth Neighbourhood Team executed two drugs warrants on Newlands Avenue and Stockdale Grove.

"At one of the properties, a cannabis farm was located consisting of 32 plants. A quantity of cannabis was also recovered from the other property.

"A 38-year-old female and a 30-year-old female remain under investigation."
