This video of a MLB prospect throwing gas with both arms on back-to-back pitches is too good

The 2022 MLB Draft is coming up next month and many of the top prospects are currently showing off their skills at the combine at Petco Park in beautiful San Diego.

I can’t pretend to be an expert about being able to break down the best players that will be available when the draft starts on July 17th but I can tell you that there is one pitcher who stands out for being the coolest pitcher available – and that’s Jurrangelo Cijntje.

Why’s this high school senior from Florida so cool? Because he can pitch with both arms and he can do it pretty darn well. Yesterday during a game he struck out 3 batters righty and 2 lefty.

Check this out:

Yeah, that is awesome.

MLB.com had more info on his outing and skills:

Cijntje worked with a 94-96 mph fastball and a 79-80 mph breaking ball with 2600 rpm from the right side, and an 88-92 mph heater and a 75-76 mph breaker with 2400 rpm from the left. That’s fairly typical for the natural left-hander, who has a reversible glove that he adjusts depending on the batter.

“It’s just a great opportunity to come here and be in an MLB stadium on the mound,” Cijntje said. “I just wanted to show everyone what I can do and just have fun.”

Yeah, that looks like a lot of fun.

Twitter agreed.
