This video of a golfer crying while telling his dad he qualified for his first PGA Tour event is too good

If you’re a golf fan then you know all the big names and how they make things look pretty easy each week. But there are a lot of professional golfers who you don’t know and they are fighting each week to reach their dreams of not only winning a tournament, but just playing in a PGA Tour event.

That dream finally came true for Michael Visacki on Monday and his emotional reaction after qualifying for his first PGA Tour event since turning pro in 2013 was so good.

Visacki, who plays on mini tours, earned a spot in this week’s Valspar Championship in Tampa by being one of the top finishers in yesterday’s Monday qualifier. Those qualifiers are really intense, one-day events where you have to go super low to have a chance.

Visacki punched his ticket yesterday and then had this emotional call with his dad:

 

He did it by surviving a playoff, too, in which he came up big when it mattered most:
