For most, Valentine's Day is the perfect occasion to celebrate your partner and shower them with love.
However, the day isn't as exciting those who have suffered a bad break up from their significant other.
All hope is not lost, as Mirror Online says there is a solution for the broken-hearted as you can now name a cockroach after your ex-partner.
Hemsley Conservation Centre is providing the 'name a cockroach programme' and it will only set you back £1.50 - all proceeds from the programme will go towards a funding project at the zoo, near Sevenoaks in Kent.
You can name your own ex after the creatures or name one on behalf of your friend, which would be the ultimate 'Palentine's Day' gift.
You will receive a certificate immortalising the act of revenge, as well as a quiz where you can compare your old flame to a cockroach.
Best of all, if you include their name in the 'add note' section at the checkout, it will be added to the roach board at the centre for everyone to see.
A statement on the centre's website read: "For those that don’t quite require revenge, there’s another way to make you feel better about getting back at your ex on Valentine’s Day.
"The HCC is offering the chance to name a cockroach in honour of your friend's worthless ex-'someone' on this special holiday of love for just £1.50."
Many people have taken to social media to praise the move.
One person wrote: "So I just named a cockroach after my ex, to be fed to the meerkats on Valentine's. And honestly it’s the best £1.50 I’ve ever spent."
A second said: "I never thought I'd say this, but I am going to purchase a cockroach."
