New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is trying to send a message. But it’s not exactly clear what he’s saying. He posted a photo to Instagram and Twitter of himself walking out on the turf at Gillette Stadium on Thursday night.
There was no caption, no emoji. There wasn’t even color. The post was just a black-and-white photo. It is one of those classically cryptic social media posts. I, for one, believe the post is so cryptic that it’s a piece of comedy. Brady has been following the media following his every move this offseason. He’s seen the reports — some true and some untrue — about his real estate dealings and appearances in cities not named Boston or Foxborough. And he’s having a good laugh at everyone with this moody image, which has the internet in mass hysteria.
