This sweet and gentle little doggy needs a new home

Animal welfare experts are appealing for a new home an old age pooch in their care.

Arthur, is a 13-year-old Jack Russell Terrier who is currently living at Dogs Trust West Calder Rehoming Centre.

His carers say Arthur is a sweet and gentle little man who despite his age is full of fun.

A spokesman for Dogs Trust said: “He loves being with people, especially getting lots of attention, or cuddling or snoozing away next to you.

“Arthur enjoys being out and about and is always happy to meet his doggy friends when out on his walks.

“He is looking for the retirement home of his dreams, he loves people so much that he can find it difficult spending time on his own and will need new owners who are around most of the day to provide him with lots of TLC.

“He would like his own garden where he can play fetch with his favourite ball or potter around on a sunny day. He is house-trained and loves to go on adventures in the car.”

If you think you can offer Arthur or any of the other 50 dogs currently available for rehoming please contact the centre on 01506 873459.

You can also follow Dogs Trust West Calder on Twitter @DT_WestCalder for regular updates on events and dogs available for rehoming.

Please look at the Dogs Trust website for access during the Corona virus outbreak.
