This super simple seasonal cocktail is refreshing, fruity and elegant – it's my new go-to for fall hosting

Hands holding cocktails with a slice of pear in.

This delicately spiced pear bellini is so easy, yet so elegant. To make an alcohol-free version, use chilled sparkling lemonade in place of Prosecco.

Ingredients (makes 6)

  • 7 fl oz (about 1 cup) cloudy pear juice, chilled
  • 1.7 fl oz (about 3 Tbsp) ginger cordial (or ginger syrup)
  • Large pinch ground allspice
  • Large pinch ground cinnamon
  • 1 red pear
  • ½ lemon
  • 25 fl oz (1 standard 750 ml bottle) Prosecco, chilled

If you like a fruity twist to your cocktails try this apple and elderflower martini which is just as lovely for fall and winter as in the midst of summer.
