'This squad needs serious work' - Nottingham Forest fans concerned after Huddersfield loss

January could make or break Nottingham Forest’s season, according to sections of their increasingly concerned fanbase.

The Reds were beaten again on Saturday afternoon, this time at Huddersfield Town, losing 2-1 in west Yorkshire.

Joe Worrall’s late header pulled Forest back into it having found themselves 2-0 down at Danny Cowley’s Terriers, and despite a late flurry of pressure, Sabri Lamouchi’s men were unable to find a point, ensuring they head into Christmas three points adrift of the top six, albeit with a game in hand.

It’s expected Forest will be active when the transfer window opens on Wednesday week, and for some, that can’t come quick enough.

Understandably, fans were left frustrated with another defeat, their second straight after last week’s 4-0 demolition against Sheffield Wednesday as a poor December continues.

Forest have yet to taste victory in the month and are next in action when they face a trip up the M62 to face Hull City looking to arrest their alarming slump.
