A Spinningfields bar has launched a summer beach bar this week, complete with jet skis and swing seats.
The Oast House, which is often praised by locals for its live events, will now also be home to The Aperol Spritz & Spiaggia bar.
From August 5 to 15, visitors will be able to dip their toes in the sand, relax on the cabana-style seating and hop aboard a jet ski on a Mediterranean escape in the heart of the city.
This isn’t the first time The Oast House has hosted the orange-hued summer event, but this year it’s sticking around for longer so that pub-goers can make up for last year.
Visitors can kick back with an Aperol Spritz and enjoy cocktails on the beach without the long queues at the airport.
According to customers, summer isn’t the only time of year worth visiting The Oast House.
2Chill user Susan Griffin is also a fan of its winter events - rating it four stars, she says: "With its array of glass structures playing home to banking and business, Spinningfields is like a miniature Canary Wharf and a world away from the more industrial Northern Quarter and Ancoats.
"There are lots of places to eat and drink here, including The Oast House which dominates the centre of Spinningfields with its huge terrace and stage.
"There are events on all through the year, including live music, and every Christmas the twinkling teepee tents provide welcome shelter from the biting cold."
Although the beach bar is free, there are selected areas that will need to be booked such as the cabanas, swing seats and the Fiat 500.
