This slim $70 storage gem doubled my book storage instantly – it's ideal for rentals, compact rooms, and avid readers

A vibrant living room with hardwood floor, a cream sofa with pink patterned cushions, two green pouffes, a striped armchair with brown wooden handles, and a small circular table with a green and white leafy tablecloth and burgundy lamp with red and white lampshade. Behind is a large square window with green and white blinds, flanked by floor to ceiling bookshelves filled with color-coded books.

I'm an avid reader, so much so that I have an Instagram account solely for reviewing books. But, while my huge book collection brought me big joy, it was unfortunately leaving my bedroom in complete disarray.

When my inventory reached over 100 unread novels alone, it was time for a change, and the FOTOSOK 8-Tier Media Tower Rack available at Amazon has been the perfect affordable storage gem to get my collection in order.

With it, I've regained control of my bedroom space, and even managed to organize my bookshelves without throwing away a single copy – a real win in my books, if you'll pardon the pun.

This slim bookshelf doubled my book storage

All prices were correct at the time of publication.

One of the main constraints in my already crowded bedroom was finding a bookshelf idea that was slim enough to squeeze into a tight space, but tall enough to actually fit all, or at least most, of my books on. That's why the FOTOSOK 8-Tier Media Tower Rack available at Amazon ticked all my boxes.

Crafted from durable yet affordable premium particleboard boards, the unit looks a whole lot more expensive than the attached price tag. It also features adjustable shelves to make organizing a bookshelf easy, which is perfect for housing both my hardbacks and paperbacks, as well as my collectable coffee table books and my larger coveted photobooks.

If you're not as short on space, you can even stand two, three, or more units side-by-side to create your very own library wall, while the option of wall-mounting the shelves, if you don't live in a rental property, ensures stability.

I'm not the only one who believes in this satisfying solution to storing books in a small space – satisfied shoppers have deemed it a 'perfect solution,' describing how they 'couldn’t be happier' with their 'very well made' purchase, leaving accompanying five-star reviews.

So, if you've been looking to overhaul your book storage ideas, look no further. Like me, you might even get away without having to declutter your books, too!

What to shop

Now that I've sorted my collection of novels, learning how to organize cookbooks is next on my list.
