This site is known for Pinterest-worthy furniture – here’s why interior insiders love it

ShopHomeStyles is aiming to make furniture shopping easier - (ShopHomeStyles)

Finding good furniture you actually like can be challenging. Despite spending hours looking for inspiration on Pinterest or Instagram, actually finding the pieces you want to buy is still mostly down to the perfect keyword searches and jumping endlessly between different retailer sites.

This is where ShopHomeStyles comes in. The homeware site has been dubbed as a “Lyst for furniture”, pulling together products from more than 100 UK and US homeware and furniture brands into one place, so you can browse and compare without having to bounce around the internet.

It makes finding your dream sofa or bed more visual. Instead of starting with a search term, you can upload an image (whether it’s from social media or one of your many screenshots) and the platform uses AI to pick out things like shape, material and colour to bring you similar, shoppable pieces.

To help narrow things down, I’ve picked out five standout furniture pieces from ShopHomeStyles that show just how varied the platform is.

The Cotswold Company 2-seater sofa

(The Cotswold Company)

Neatly piped cushions and arms give this sofa a tailored finish, while traditional castor legs (available in three finishes) let you match it to your space. It also comes with a choice of cushion fillings, from soft, cocooning feather to more supportive, low-maintenance fibre.

Bed Kingdom single ottoman bed

(Bed Kingdom)

This ottoman bed has generous under-bed storage with a contemporary padded headboard for support and hand-carved wooden feet. A gas piston lift system provides easy access to the large under-bed compartment, perfect for adding storage space to smaller bedrooms.

Heal’s confetti table lamp

(Heal's)

This table lamp comes in five colours, so there are plenty of options to choose from when adding some colour to your home. The confetti-style design creates fun and unqiue light patterns in your room, and the translucent glass provides warm, cosy lighting.

Holloways of Ludlow rounded side table with curved legs

(Holloways of Ludlow)

Available in both burgundy and blue, this side table is designed by British designer John Astbury. It has three curved legs inspired by ancient-style pillars and is a contemporary piece that works as a practical piece of furniture as well as a subtle design statement.

Graham and Green black ifat pouffe

(Graham and Green)

The ikat pattern on this Graham and Green pouffe is achieved with a traditional printing and weaving technique. It is made with cotton and filled with recycled fibre, with neutral tones that should compliment plenty of homes.
