This simple trick can help you get your luggage back first when you arrive at the airport

A top trick has been revealed which will help you get your luggage back first when you arrive at the airport – and it's actually really simple.

We'll all spent far too long waiting at the dreaded luggage carousel, watching bag after bag pass without seeing yours.

Many of us will probably have felt the wave of panic that something has happened to the bags on the way to the holiday we'd been looking forward to so much.

However there's a sneaky tip which should help you get your bags back, and avoid the long wait.

All you need to do is ask for a 'fragile' label from check-in staff before slapping it on your luggage.

News.com.au report that any bags with this tag go on the plane last, and come out on to the belt first as a result.

However they advise that you leave your address off any tags so not to alert any opportunist burglars that you're away from home.

Thomas Lo Sciuto, a ramp worker and gate agent at an American airport, says you could also try checking in last.

He said: "Bags will always be loaded front to back on the bag carts, so if you check in last your bags will be in the last bag cart."
