This Scottish two bedroom flat hides a medieval secret fit for a King or Queen

We've seen a lot of incredible properties , but this one really has us giddy with excitement.

Fit quite literally for a King or Queen, the two bedroom flat is set within a baronial mansion and it's completely unique.

Dalzell House, in Motherwell Lanarkshire, was originally built for the Dalzell family in the 1400s and generations of the family lived there for over 400 years.

Now the apartment has been renovated by the current owner to completely work in historic sympathy with the house.

The house was developed into 18 private apartments in 1980, many of which have retained the original features - but none quite like this one.

There's suits of armour, a Great Dining Hall complete with 16th century wood carved panelling, a pipers' gallery, and a copper roll top bath - and that's just a few of the rooms.

You are truly transported back to medieval times as soon as you walk through the door.

There's a stone spiral staircase, a reception hallway which leads into the great hall which also has a library and wine cellar. There's then an amazing kitchen and storage space.

The property is on the market for a guide price of £350,000 , you can only view by appointment. However, the flat really has to be seen to be believed.
