This Scots pan-Asian restaurant is offering free food to red heads to celebrate Ed Sheeran's new album

Ed Sheeran's latest album has just dropped today and to mark the occasion, Chopstix will be offering anyone with a fiery head of hair a free box of noodles in stores across Scotland.

If you're wondering why the pan-Asian noodle chain would be celebrating the release of the pop singer's latest album, there here's a fun fact that you may not know.

Back when the global pop star was still a fledgling star and was busy busking on the streets of London, the noodle chain invited him to play a mini-concert for customers after he was told to move by police.

Chopstix invited the then beginner singer-songwriter to play a few songs in-store back in 2012, which means a few lucky fans got to see him in concert well before he became the international sensation he is today.

The fast food chain must have been on to something when they spotted him, because today marks the release of the pop star's fourth album following a career that has gone from strength to strength.

So, in celebration, the noodle chain will offer a free small box of noodles to those who possesses the same fiery locks as the singer.

You might want to be quick, though, as the offer will only last today.

The noodle branch have said that they will be offering the free box of food to the first 100 ginger customers who walk into one of their branches across Scotland before 1pm.

If you're that excited for noodles - and Ed Sheeran's latest album - then make sure you have the right colour of hair and head to one of the participating stores detailed below:
