This Scots city are second worst in UK for returning dirty pants

Edinburgh folk are the second worst people in UK for returning knickers they've already worn.

A recent poll has shown that one-in-20 Brits have admitted returning underwear - after they've worn it.

Geordies were the worst in the UK for returning worn pants, with nine per cent confessing to have done it.

The study by Suit Direct found that those in Edinburgh weren't far behind, with six per cent admitted returning worn pants or knickers to get a refund.

Almost four percent of Glaswegians fessed up to the shameful admission.

A poll of 2,000 Brits found that five per cent of those polled - that's 100 of the 2,000 polled - confessed to buying and wearing underwear before returning to shops claiming it was unused.

The study also found that 55 per cent of Brits admit to buying an item of clothing in the knowledge they would only wear it once before returning it to get a full refund.

The worst serial returners were from London, where 76 per cent confessed to regularly buying clothes they knew they would return after wearing.

Birmingham folk weren't far behind, with 70 per cent, followed by those in Edinburgh, with 54 per cent.

The least likely folk to return clothes after wearing them were from Bristol, where just 26 per cent confessed to doing it.
