This popular Bolton indie nightclub will be sold at auction and it could be yours

A former indie music haven in Bolton town centre is set to go up for auction this month.

Blind Tiger, on Nelson Square, will go under the hammer along with 90 other properties at an auction run by property firm Pugh.

The 6,000 sq ft building has been closed since April 2018 a year after it was sold to new owners.

In its final night, the venue played host to Manchester young-rockers Twisted Wheel for a memorable goodbye gig before closing its doors for the final time.

Then building is now up auction, with a guide price of between £150,000 and £200,000.

Describing the venue on its website, the auctioneers say: "The property is located on Nelson Square, within Bolton town centre, which is just off Bradshawgate and adjacent to a JD Wetherspoon public house and within the established town centre circuit for bars and restaurants."

Adding: "The property may be suitable for alternative uses, subject to obtaining the necessary consents. We understand the property is freehold and offered with vacant possession."

Other Bolton properties up for sale in the auction include Turton House, on Wellington Road, a number of shopping units on Newport Street and a former commercial unit of Plodder Lane.

The auction will take place online on October 21.
