This picture taken in Leeds shows exactly how we should all be social distancing

People queuing outside a medical centre in Leeds have been praised for correctly following the rules on social distancing.

Shops, restaurants and cafés have all been forced to close in a bid to limit the number of gatherings in public places. When people do go outside, they are being told to stay at least two metres away from others.

However, pictures emerged at the weekend of outrageous queues forming outside supermarkets across the city, with people stood incredibly close to one another so that they could be one of the first inside the store when it opened.

Many people have shared pictures of the foolish behaviour of others - but here at LeedsLive we have also seen some good examples of social distancing.

Natasha Ward shared the photo above of people waiting to get into Rawdon Medical Centre at around 2.15pm this afternoon and praise each of them for their sensible attitude.

It shows a group of four people spaced at least two metres apart as they wait to get into the medical centre on New Road Side, Rawdon.

"The most sensible thing I've seen in a while," she said.

"I posted it to share a positive image rather than a negative one! Hats off to the people of Rawdon."
