Actor Riya Sen, who tied the knot with her long time boyfriend Shivam Tiwari last month, is ruling the internet with pictures from her honeymoon. Riya has posted a picture where she is seen kissing husband Shivam.
She posted the picture from a restaurant in Prague, Czech Republic and wrote, “#kisses for #mrs and a #heart for #art.” Riya, granddaughter of legendary actor Suchitra Sen, married Shivam in Pune on August 16. The wedding was a family affair with the news of the nuptials coming out only when the wedding pics made it to the internet.
Riya hasn’t been seen of late in Bollywood films though she has worked in a number of Bengali films such as Noukadubi and Jaatishwar. She will soon be seen in Ekta Kapoor’s web series Ragini MMS 2.2.
Riya has a rich family history -- she is granddaughter of the legendary screen goddess Suchitra Sen. Shivam, on the other hand, is a photography enthusiast.
Best remembered for her Hindi films such as Style, Jhankaar Beats and Apna Sapna Money Money, Riya has also worked in a Tamil film directed Bharathiraja called Taj Mahal.
Riya’s last film was Agnidev Chatterjee’s Bengali film Dark Chocolate where her character was loosely based on Sheena Bora.
Riya has dated actors John Abraham and Ashmit Patel in the past.
