Sometimes, an NBA player has to take the longview and just let a player blow by them for a massive dunk.
That’s the case for Kevin Durant, who’s clearly thinking about one more title and doesn’t want more wear and tear on his body. Or he just didn’t want to be posterized by Karl-Anthony Towns, which to me is the absolute right decision.
All of that said, the face he made when the Minnesota Timberwolves big man went up to dunk is priceless, and it resulted in a photo that I’m shocked hasn’t become a full-on meme everywhere.
