This Patrick Mahomes throw from Chiefs practice can’t be real

We’re getting to point where Patrick Mahomes could literally do anything with a football and it would be all that shocking. The man completed a pass with his left hand in a pivotal moment during his first appearance on Monday Night Football. He doesn’t even need to look when he throws passes. His arm strength doesn’t take a hit when he’s on the move either.

Mahomes is a football-throwing machine who might very well have the most talented arm this league has ever seen, which allows him to make an impossible throw like this one he made during the Chiefs’ training camp practice Friday with relative ease…

I mean c’mon. Mahomes throws it 60 yards in the air while on the move, and with just an effortless flick of the wrist, the ball hits the receiver in stride for a touchdown.

I know it’s just practice and Mahomes isn’t facing a pass rush, but it’s not like we haven’t seen him make equally ridiculous throws against live competition.

It’s going to be hard for Mahomes to match what he did in 2018, but he certainly has the talent to do so. And the Chiefs have surrounded him with a tremendous supporting cast that should allow him to reach his ceiling … if he has one, that is.
