From the outside, you'd never know what inside this ordinary-looking semi-detached house that's up for sale.

That's because it is hiding a skate park inside it.

On the market for £240,000, this converted village hall in Norfolk is a dream home for any Tony Hawk fan as it boasts a unique skate bowl designed and built by the current owner – complete with 13ft vert wall, mini skate park and three 4ft quarter pipes.

The property, on Sutton Road, Terrington St. Clement, also features open-plan living areas, a wood burner and windows overlooking the skate park.

The 19th century property has appeared on the Netflix show Amazing Interiors.

Rightmove’s property expert Miles Shipside said: “This wildly unique home won’t be to everyone’s taste but there’s no denying that it’s a brilliantly entertaining and quirky property.

"I think the owner deserves huge credit for being brave and bold enough to build his dream home, and looking through the pictures, you can’t help but smile at the character of this place.

"If you’re looking for a property that has the ‘wow factor’ you certainly won’t find another house like this in a hurry.”

What the property listing says

"The property can be entered via the rear or the side, when entering via the rear of the home you come into the kitchen area of the open plan living space, with wooden flooring throughout, a range of modern fitted units, range cooker, skylight, integrated appliances and Vietnamese slate splash backs.

"The dining area is off to one side and to the rear of this area is the lounge space, the perfect place to relax with the lit wood burner in the winter.

"A door to the rear leads to the shower room, a window to the rear along with the skylight make this a really light room, with underfloor heating, fully tiled shower enclosure, w.c and hand basin inset within a granite topped unit and stunning floor tiles from the public records library in London.

"A further door leads to the third bedroom, which is currently used as the utility space.

"An external side door leads out onto the parking area with a further internal door leading you into the wow factor room... the skate bowl, uniquely designed and built by the current owner, complete with 13' vert wall, mini skate park and three 4' quarter pipes.

"The original wooden flooring is still completely intact beneath the skate park structures.

"Stairs lead to the first floor with two further bedrooms, the carpeted master features a large Velux window along with an internal window overlooking the skate park.

"The grounds of the property are gated with pedestrian and vehicular gates. To the right of the property is property for several cars, the tarmac driveway leads to the courtyard garden at the rear of the property, a blank canvas for someone to add their personal style."
