This optical illusion will tell you if you're a dog person or cat person

Have you ever wondered if you’re really a dog or cat person at heart? Or do you think you’ve got a strong preference, but others disagree?

A new optical illusion has been created and shared by Jackpotjoy to reveal your true favourite and finally put those niggling doubts to rest. The colourful design features one dog – a long earned Spaniel with two-toned fur – and two cats sat side by side.

Whichever you see first when you look at this clever illusion reveals if you’re really most drawn to dogs or cats. So, what do you see?

Dog people personality traits

According to psychologists, people who favour dogs are more likely to be loyal and friendly, playful, easy to get on with and often outgoing too. They typically like to socialise with loved ones and enjoy companionship.

They are also more likely to be protective in their relationships and very loving. It is said that they can get lonely if they don’t have company, but they do tend to look on the bright side of things.

Cat people personality traits

In contrast, people who prefer cats are said to be more goal-oriented and motivated. They’re more likely to enjoy their own company - and be introverted - or enjoy being in independent. Cat people may also be attention-seeking at times but can be born leaders who are creative and always on the lookout for the next opportunity.
