This one brutal stat shows just how pathetic the Redskins’ offense has been

The Washington Redskins are once again very bad at football, which isn’t surprising to anyone who has watched this sad franchise try to play play football in recent years.

But this year’s offense has been really, really bad as of late and that continued during Sunday’s game against the Jets (going to a Jets-Redskins game just sounds like some sick punishment). Washington has scored 9 or fewer points in five games this year and had just 3 points through 3 1/2 quarters against the Jets, who opened up a 34-3 at FedFex Field in the fourth quarter.

But then midway through the fourth Washington finally scored an offensive TD when Derrius Guice ran in a 45-yard TD pass from rookie QB Dwayne Haskins.

I say “finally” because this one stat shows just how pathetic Washington has been:

They later added another garbage-time TD on a one-yard TD pass from Haskins.

The last time the Redskins had scored an offensive TD before that meaningless TD in Sunday’s ugly performance against the Jets was way back in the third quarter of their 17-16 win over the Miami Dolphins on Oct. 13.

That’s not great at all for a team that will fall to 1-9 and continue to be irrelevant under the ownership of Daniel Snyder.
