This Nicki Minaj waxwork is attracting attention for all the wrong reasons

Nicki Minaj is one of the most famous and recognisable stars in the world - but the creators of this new waxwork of her might want to go back to the drawing board.

Madame Tussauds Berlin unveiled a new tribute to the star this week, but unfortunately, fans have some issues with the creation.

Well, they have one issue: It doesn’t actually look like Minaj.

The wax version of Minaj is posing as the superstar does in her Anaconda video and sporting an outfit just like hers. But that’s essentially where the similarities end.

The hair - which has been scraped into a high ponytail is pretty accurate too but critics have pointed out that the face bears little resemblance to the star:

Minaj herself is yet to comment on the figure.

And if you need a reminder, here's what she actually looks like:

The likeness just isn't quite there.

This is far from the first time that a wax version of a celeb has attracted attention for all the wrong reasons.

In December, the same branch of Madame Tussauds (the attraction has multiple locations worldwide) confused everyone with a waxwork allegedly modelled on Kendall Jenner.

Ariana Grande previously appeared to throw shade at a figure of herself, commenting on an Instagram snap of it with: “I just wanna talk.”
